What actions could you (in theory) undertake that would improve the ‘sustainability’ of your lifestyle?
What might be preventing you from doing these?
As a mother I always seem busy I’m guess no different to many people in my situation. (Making excuses) I’m sure that I could do more to improve my sustainability if only to eat more healthy, recycle more and not use the tumble dryer as much and to shop locally could be augured to reduce my carbon foot print. Whilst I was reading some peaces on the internet looking up sustainability I found an interesting peace called my perspective on sustainability (http://mason.gum.edu/scrate1/sustainability-statement.htm) this suggest it is not only “meeting the needs with out compromising the ability of the future”(The independent 11th July 2000 http;//www.independent.co.uk/opinin/commentors/sustainability-abig-would-with-little) within the environment but, also human betterment could this mean as a student that I’m improving my sustainability as I’m trying to self actualizes ?
Some of the reasons that might prevent me from changing to a more sustainable life style would be as suggested time, money and habit.
